Accountant
Dionna Morris serves as the Accountant for AFBE and is responsible for maintaining and controlling the general ledger accounts and business transactions of the organization, applying the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that includes analytical work and thorough review of financial records. Before joining ABFE, Dionna was the senior accountant for a privately owned home health and hospice company. Previously, she served as an accountant for a non-profit headstart/early headstart agency where she worked alongside with the CFO.
Dionna holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Mississippi Valley State University, a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from University of Arkansas Grantham, and is currently completing her Associate in Accounting. Dionna is also an active Notary Public for the state of Mississippi.
