Witt/Kieffer is proud to announce that we have been retained to assist Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) in recruiting a Chief Operating Officer. Planned Parenthood is proud of its legacy and well-documented accomplishments in the field of women’s health, advocacy and education over its almost 100 year history. Under the dynamic leadership of the CEO, the PPFA brand has been significantly strengthened. This is a pivotal time of promise for PPFA. The impact of the Affordable Care Act, the significant state efforts to reduce access to reproductive health and the impact of the electoral landscape have created significant programmatic imperatives. The organization has doubled its size over the past five years.
Position Overview
PPFA’s ambitious goal requires an extraordinary leader, a seasoned and strategic executive to lead innovative collaborations in an effort to transform and enhance meaningful support to the existing work and challenges. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented leader with a passion for the mission of PPFA. S/he will need the strategic vision to create the framework and the organizational infrastructure, along with a proven track record of success executing on those plans. This COO will need to quickly build credibility within the senior leadership and provide the strategic direction of the organization, setting expectations, driving action items and track progress.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who have 10+ years of innovative leadership experience. This COO will be a leader, driven by mission, with an established reputation for innovation and driving results.
