32nd Annual James A. Joseph Lecture and Awards
ABFE: A Philanthropic Partnership for Black Communities
Named after one of our founders, this award and lecture series recognizes outstanding individuals whose leadership and stewardship of progressive philanthropic ideals help to advance ABFE’s mission. These lectures collectively provide a critical history of the evolution of the foundation sector since the program’s founding in 1991. Each year, one individual from each of the following categories is honored:
-
The James A. Joseph Lecturer
-
Emerging Leader in Philanthropy
-
Institutional Award for Philanthropic Leadership
-
Trailblazer in Philanthropy
The Lecture and Awards Ceremony will take place at ABFE’s 2023 Annual Conference, “Harambee: Let’s All Pull Together,” on Friday, April 14, 2023. Stay tuned for JJL Award nominations announcements!
