Position Overview
The Program Manager will be a new role within the Gender Equity and Governance (GEG) Program and will provide cross-cutting programmatic and administrative support to the Program Director in partnership with the Executive Assistant. She/he/they will be a key partner for the Program Director in program and team management, internal and external communications, and ensuring the team continues to be high functioning and with a positive culture. Program-side coordination will include support across the five GEG strategies, assisting with grant-making and management, coordinating program associates, planning annual program retreats and monthly team meetings, leading projects to strengthen team culture, and other program-wide activities. The Program Manager will serve as a GEG Program resource and key partner to the Director, providing information as needed to colleagues, particularly around the Director’s priorities and commitments; and providing coordination and back-up support as needed for program associate staff. The position also involves administrative duties such as meeting preparation and follow-up, and other operation needs. She/he/they along with the Program Director and Executive Assistant, will provide the programmatic and administrative glue for GEG, helping to manage the administration of the team, and working in concert with the program officers and program associates.
