September 2024 Recap: Reflecting on Progress & Looking Ahead
In our September 2024 Newsletter, we’re thrilled to unveil the newest cohort of ABFE’s Connecting Leaders Fellowship Program (CLFP). These outstanding leaders will embark on a year-long journey to drive equity and inclusion within philanthropy, shaping the future of the sector. This edition also features essential new resources, including two new factsheets offering key insights into the state of Black leadership in nonprofits in partnership with Candid. Additionally, we spotlight our recent participation at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 2024 Legislative Conference and preview several major upcoming virtual events:

As part of the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re also spotlighting our ABFE members who identify as Afro-Latinx, Hispanic, and Latinx, and who are making significant strides in driving impactful change through philanthropy offering deeper opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
