In her role as Director of Development and Campaigns, T'Shawn Rivers is responsible for campaign logistics, fundraising and “friend-raising,” as well as project management and proposal creation for foundations and corporations. 

Prior to joining ABFE, T’Shawn was the Senior Director of Development and Partnerships at Race Forward. She has an extensive history in the nonprofit sector which includes: Women’s Resources of Monroe County where she was the Director of Development and licensed Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Crisis Counselor. T’Shawn also served as Director of Administration and Finance at the American Museum of Natural History, raising millions of dollars over a twenty-plus year period. 

T’Shawn majored in business administration at Medgar Evers CUNY, and is a published Amazon best-selling author of two anthologies.
